Aldar Broadens Education Portfolio in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Bahrain

Aldar Properties has significantly increased its investment in its education business, adding over AED 350 million to the initial AED 1 billion commitment made in 2022. This expansion will encompass Aldar Education’s venture into Dubai and Bahrain, along with a new acquisition in Abu Dhabi.

As part of this expansion plan, Aldar Education will establish Cranleigh Bahrain, the first branded premium school in Bahrain offering a British International Curriculum. Set to open in 2024, Cranleigh Bahrain will be a co-educational school catering to students from Pre-Prep to Year 13. This move represents a major milestone for Aldar Education as it extends its high-quality education standards beyond the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The acquisition of Kent College Dubai marks Aldar Education’s entry into the Dubai market, while the acquisition of Virginia International Private School expands its presence, reach, and offerings in Abu Dhabi’s education sector.
