With summer in Dubai in full swing, the city’s unique indoor attractions are welcoming residents and visitors with comprehensive safety and precautionary measures firmly in place. Dubai offers a plethora of varied fun and cultural experiences, ensuring there are plenty of ways to keep the little ones cool and the whole family engaged during their school break. Read on for the coolest tips and ideas for a summer to remember.

Head over to IMG World of Adventures, Dubai’s largest indoor theme park and the ultimate destination to spend the day with the family. Explore the five themed adventure zones, including Marvel, the Lost Valley, Cartoon Network, IMG Boulevard and Novo Cinemas for an action-packed day of thrills, laughter and fun while witnessing much-loved characters come to life, including The Powerpuff Girls and the Avengers.

Visit Kidzania, an indoor playground and a vast indoor educational theme park located in the Dubai Mall. Aimed at children aged 4-16, KidZania features realistic setups where kids can learn about more than 70 different professions and the real world in the interactive city. From hosting their own entertainment show, learning to create pizzas to developing money management skills whilst running their own shop, the opportunities for fun and education are endless.

LEGOLAND Dubai, located at Dubai Parks & Resorts is ideal for families with children aged 2 – 12 years of age. A central feature of LEGOLAND Dubai is MINILAND, an indoor air-conditioned attraction, with more than 20 million LEGO bricks creating this unique interactive area. Featuring iconic landmarks from across the Middle East, such as the world’s tallest LEGO model of the iconic Burj Khalifa, guests can even build their own city at a 10m long play table.

Pay a visit to Bounce, the biggest indoor trampoline park in Dubai, comprised of wall-to-wall trampolines, airbags and an adventure challenge course. Bounce-X is the world’s first freestyle terrain park, providing the ultimate indoor adrenaline playground with parkour courses and freestyle features. For junior jumpers, there’s a dedicated area with their own purpose-built trampoline area and climbing boxes. 

Enjoy a relaxed, laidback environment at Café Ceramique, where guests of all ages get to design and create their own beautiful pieces of art. Kids have their own arts studio with guidance and supervision from the café team, whilst adults can enjoy a delicious meal whilst painting their ceramics.

Check out thejamjar, a cool arts centre in the Al Quoz neighbourhood that offers a weekly programme of interactive art workshops, multimedia creative classes and sensory art experiences ideal for children aged from four years upwards as well as a host of teen and adult workshops and drop-in classes.

Check out Adventure Zone, an indoor adventure sports centre that is an ideal destination for active kids of all ages and abilities, with a host of activities including indoor football, high ropes, a trampoline park, a zipline, skate park and themed fun climbing walls on offer, all supervised by certified instructors.

Visit Air Maniax, an epic indoor inflatable park, housing several distinct arenas and assault courses, including mini areas for toddlers. With more than 15,000 sq ft packed with adrenaline fuelled fun, Air Maniax also features an assault course with a points-based system that brings to life your own ninja warrior experience.

Engage your kids with an adrenaline-fuelled activity played in a purpose-built indoor arena at Xtreme Laser Tag. With castle towers, ramps, mazes, turrets and state-of-the-art around and lighting effects, Xtreme Laser Tag offers an intense and fun experience, and is a great activity for the kids.
