It also offers a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, in order to provide a full-screen viewing experience when watching movies and TV shows. Apart from being PANTONE Validated, you also get a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 gamut for accurate and vivid colours.
The display offers a resolution of 1920-by-1080 pixels and 550 nits of peak brightness. In addition, there’s also DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for deep blacks. The display also offers a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, a fast 0.2-millisecond response time, and TÜV Rheinland-certified eye protection through lower blue-light levels.
HARDWARE
Under the hood, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is powered by a Quad-core Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor. This is coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 256GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage, and support for WiFi 6 (802.11 ax) with ASUS WiFi Master. The laptop also supports the Bluetooth 5.2 standard for strong wireless connectivity.
On the front, just above the display, you will find a 5MP camera, while at the rear, ASUS includes a 13MP shooter. In terms of I/O ports, you get two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with display and Power Delivery support, one 3.5 mm combo audio jack, and one microSD card slot. Even though the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED offers so many bells and whistles, it keeps its form factor small. It measures just 309.9-by-190-by-7.9 mm and weighs just 785-gms.
ENTERTAINMENT
Watching movies or videos on the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is a rewarding experience. In addition, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes packed with a highly responsive touchscreen and the high-precision ASUS Pen 2.0. So you can use the combination of the two to write, draw, or annotate with 4096-level pressure sensitivity and 266 Hz sampling rate. The stylus also comes with four interchangeable pen tips that have different textures mimicking 2H, H, HB, and B pencils.
This means the experience of sketching or drawing with it will feel very natural. It can be charged via any USB-C charger, and when paired via Bluetooth, the shortcut button provides intuitive one-click functions. This includes tasks such as taking screenshots or navigating to the next page of a presentation.
PERFORMANCE
The overall performance offered by the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is very good, thanks to its solid specs. The detachable full-size keyboard offers a long 1.4 mm key travel. The dished keycaps also increase fingertip comfort. The mega-sized touchpad meanwhile offers very good responsiveness and accuracy, and it has a special coating with a silky-smooth feel.
The laptop also comes with a 50Wh battery that can even be charged using a power bank or any USB-C charger you might be carrying around. The bundled charger will charge the laptop to 60% in as little as 39 minutes. The front camera of the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED lets you experience clear video calls, while the rear camera helps take good photos or videos. AI Noise-Canceling Audio makes sure voices in meetings are clear, even when there are lots of people in the same room.

The ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED laptop is available at a price point starting at AED 2499.
